Read the project report
The brief
This project produced a feasibility study to inform future work on local food; it also mapped local produce in Swansea, and provided recommendations on shortening supply chains
The solution
Afallen built a project team that included our Partner David Clubb and Associate Katie Powis, Urban Foundry and the Open Food Network, to undertake a survey, carry out face-to-face interviews, and deliver an in-depth research project.
One of the results of the data obtained from the project is the ability to plot some of the local food suppliers on an open-source map (see below as an example).
Testimonial
“Afallen are knowledgeable and confident within the business sector and able to engage effectively with that community. This has meant the report commissioned was thorough and forward thinking”
Jack Joseph – Swansea Council
